Hannah Vickers
Managing Director
A Civil Engineer by profession, Hannah founded Built Confidence in August 2025.

With significant experience in commercial and corporate strategy, Hannah’s career spans influential roles at the Construction Leadership Council (CLC), Mace, and HM Treasury, where she brought clarity, confidence, and evidence-based decision making to complex and ‘high-stake’ environments.At construction giant Mace, she held executive positions as Global Director of Advisory and Chief of Staff, overseeing the delivery of over £10 billion of major programmes, strengthening corporate governance, and leading business transformation at the global group.
At the CLC, she served as the sector’s lead for Net Zero and productivity, overseeing industry engagement with COP26. Her earlier work at HM Treasury advising on infrastructure investment, nurtured a reputation for rigorous appraisal, effective cross‑government negotiation, as well as clarity and confidence in high‑value programmes.
Hannah has also held roles at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), where she was the membership organisation’s youngest CEO, and in infrastructure policy and delivery at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Environment Agency.
Lorna Fenech
Strategy Consultant
With a background in Law and Psychology, Lorna leads our research and analysis.

Lorna undertakes detailed research and analysis, with particular focus on policy and strategic reporting.Her work includes supporting clients through detailed document review, conducting market analysis and stakeholder engagement, analysing client documents at pace, and understanding team dynamics at play.
Lorna studied Law at the University of Warwick, and previously founded and ran a successful e-commerce and service business for six years.
